| 1.Clean open socket with compressed air,screw nipple into scoket carefully not to damage threads. |
2.Bring down upper electrode until opening between two electrodes becomes 20 to 30mm,clean out opening between electrodes with compressed air. |

| 4.When joining electrodes by torque wrench, be sure to tighten exactly to specified torque. |
5.To avoid electrode breakage, remove any insulated materials from the furnace. |
6.To avoid electrode breakage, be sure to place large scrap at furnace bottom and small scrap at top. |
